ArmPay gives Armenian merchants a Shopify-native gateway across 8 banks, Visa, Mastercard, and ArCa. Outside Armenia, we build custom VPOS integrations to whatever acquirer, processor, or local card network your market needs.
What we build
ARMPAY · OUR PRODUCT
Already built. A custom app we install and host for you — not on the public App Store. 500,000 AMD setup + 10,000 AMD/mo covers any Armenian bank, 3D Secure, auto-confirmation, refunds, full PCI compliance. Armenian merchants take cards within days. For the full feature list, pricing, and screenshots, see the ArmPay product page.
See ArmPay full details →CUSTOM VPOS
If you operate outside Armenia and your local bank exposes a VPOS interface, we build the bridge. ArmPay is built on Ameria Bank VPOS direct integration — and most Eastern European, Middle Eastern, and regional bank VPOS systems follow the same pattern: session create, redirect, callback, capture. If your acquirer has docs, we can integrate it.
3D SECURE
Proper 3DS1 and 3DS2 challenge handling, fallback logic, and merchant-vs-customer friction optimization. Tested in production across ArCa, Visa, and Mastercard. We tune the challenge thresholds so you're not losing baskets to unnecessary step-ups.
MULTI-CURRENCY
Shopify Markets integration for multi-currency stores. Local card presentment. FX handling in your preferred model — merchant-of-record vs passthrough. Works for sellers pricing in AMD, EUR, USD, or any Shopify-supported currency.
REFUNDS · CHARGEBACKS
Full and partial refunds through the Shopify admin UI. Chargeback dispute evidence capture. Transaction reporting. Not just happy-path — the messy stuff: partial captures, voids after auth, reversed 3DS attempts. The edge cases your CS team actually hits.
COMPLIANCE · REPORTING
PCI DSS compliant by architecture — card data never touches your server, only bank-hosted pages. Transaction reports drop into accounting. Audit trails sit behind every dispute. Your auditor's checklist is shorter because the data flow removed the hard questions.
Example tech stack
Bank integrations force you to work with whatever the acquirer hands you — so flexibility matters more than religion. Typical stack for a Shopify-native gateway:

SPECIALTY RETAILER · COMPLIANCE-SENSITIVE
“Shipping rates, tax, and compliance flags all had to be computed per-order — staff were classifying every non-default order by hand.”
A rule engine + Shopify integration layer that classifies every order at capture, flags compliance-sensitive destinations, and produces the audit trail a finance team needs to sleep at night. Proof that the hard work around payments isn't the card swipe — it's everything surrounding it.

FAQ
ArmPay currently supports integration with every major Armenian bank that offers a VPOS (Virtual Point of Sale) interface, including Ameria Bank, Inecobank, Ardshinbank, ACBA Bank, IDBank, Converse Bank, Evocabank, and VTB Armenia. Merchants connect their own bank's VPOS credentials — we don't sit in the money flow.
Yes, by design. Card data never touches your Shopify server or ours — customers are redirected to the bank's PCI-certified hosted payment page, enter card details there, and are returned to your store after authorization. Your compliance burden stays minimal; the bank's PCI certification covers the sensitive flow.
Yes. 3D Secure 2 is enforced on all transactions by the underlying bank's VPOS. Cardholders complete the 3DS challenge on their issuing bank's page before the transaction is authorized. Lower fraud, better chargeback protection, and compliance with Armenian Central Bank requirements.
ArmPay is a 500,000 AMD one-time setup plus 10,000 AMD/month, with the app hosted and managed on our side. There are no per-transaction fees from EcomHub — merchants pay only their bank's standard acquiring fee (typically 1–2%). Compare to international gateways at 2.9%+ and our total cost advantage is substantial for Armenian merchants.
Yes, if your local bank provides a VPOS or equivalent payment interface with documentation. We've reverse-engineered VPOS flows and built production-grade integrations from scratch. Typical custom gateway build: $8,000–$25,000 depending on acquirer documentation quality and scope of compliance work.
Yes. ArmPay includes full refund and partial refund support through Shopify's admin — refunds are processed through the same bank channel as the original transaction. Chargebacks are handled per bank; we provide evidence-capture workflows and dispute-response documentation as part of the admin interface.
